Athlone Fashion Trail

So on Sunday the 25th of September I attended the launch of the Irish Blogger agency, which might not sound daunting but for me it was. After having Cancer one thing I really struggled with was confidence, I found it hard to actually get back out and socialise, but it took time and when I came across the Irish blogger agency I thought it was a great opportunity! It was founded by Sinead Carroll from Yummy Mummy Fashion & Lifestyle Blog. At the launch we got to meet her power team and guest speakers which included Kate Kelly from Pure Irish sugar and also the The Galway Player! It ended. So I finally got over the fear of going to a blogger event and this lead to the Athlone Fashion Trail!

The day began at Colm Quinn BMW who were the main sponsors, there we had a fabulous breakfast and the kindly chauffeured us to our first stop which was Kadee Bride & Boutique.

Here the showcased some amazing wedding dresses from designers such as Suzanne Neville and Temperley London!

Burgess was next and was also out last stop, Burgess is the longest running department store in Ireland which is pretty impressive! Here they have ladies fashion, menswear, fashion accessories and homeware! We got a Fab insight into their Womens fashion and Menswear and I also fell in love with their selection of Handbags and purses!!

Then we headed to the Fab Olivia Danielle. The clothes here were to die for!!

Athlone Town Centre had all the shops I adore River Island, Oasis, Zara, H&M and Loads more!!

My favourite and I think a lot of other blogger favourites was Nell’s Closet!! It really impressed me with their selection of dresses, headpieces and jewellery! This is one place I definitely be making a trip back to!!

Midway through the day we were treated to a fab lunch from The Fatted Calf where they gave us a great selection! And we ended the day with a well needed cocktail and food at the The Radisson Blu Athlone!!

Overall it was an amazing day with the ITWBN Bloggers and we couldn’t of been treated better!! It was my first time shopping in Athlone and I was so impressed!! Definitely another trip to Athlone is on the cards!!!
